Chicago. May 14, 2020. #18. The drone is CAPABLE of 10k, but you have to have absolutely RF sterile conditions and almost a complete unobstructed line of sight to achieve that.. I’m getting about a mile and a half of pristine video feed. With this drone it seems like you have the connection until you just don’t anymore.
Open the DJI Go app and tap ‘ Enter Camera View ‘ to connect to the drone. Launch the aircraft in P-GPS mode and toggle the switch to F-Mode. When asked if you want to enable multiple flight modes, select ‘ok’. Choose Waypoints mode. Select whether you want to start a new mission or load a new one.
On CE (Europe) 5.8 weaker. Hopefully I can manually switch to 5.8ghz only on the Mavic. The Mavic can be either controlled by the RC which uses the 2.4GHz bands. Or 'wifi' control (physical switch on Mavic to select which option you want to use) from a tablet or phone using the 2.4 or 5.8 GHz wifi format bands.
