Ive tried Xbox 360 controller, Xbox One controller, PS4 Dualshock, PS5 Dualsense. They all share the same problem, the controls gets mixed up. I've also reinstalled the game and all my drivers, also tried to launch game in Windows 7 mode, run as admin, everything.

Ifyou have a PC with Windows the 360 controller should work instantly. It's plug and play. Not sure about Macs. As for 32bit/64bit, it shouldn't matter. If it's Windows the controller should work. I have the same setup as you and my controller worked instantly. Alright one more thing if you wouldn't mind.
