India currently has 272 of Sukhoi-30 jets. Ministry of Defence (MoD) earlier this month, approved Indian Air Force request to buy 12 new Sukhoi 30 fighter aircrafts from Russia. the Su-30 MKI will be procured from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) at an estimated cost of Rs 10,730 crore.

Atm top tier is crazy compressed and Su-27 is better in every way compared to Mig-29. One issue is it's current flight model which doesn't do good at lower speeds but other than that you will be much better off in flanker. Hard disagree, low speed is where you want to be with the Su-27.
